All of the data for the charts is sourced from my Last.FM plays. The monthly charts are calculated using the weekly snapshots and then the 'classics' are removed. After adding all the plays up, the 30 songs with the most plays will be in the chart for that month. All songs outside of the top 30 will be added and totaled at the end of the year for the year-end chart.
The monthly 'Classics' charts are calculated using the weekly snapshots and then the currents are removed. After adding all the plays up, the 50 songs with the most plays will be in the chart for that month. All songs outside of the top 50 will be added and totaled at the end of the year for the year-end chart.
There will be additional 'Flashback' charts from years prior to the current year posted at regular intervals. The same methodology used for the currents and classics charts will be used for those as well.
